With over 55 years of dedicated experience since earning his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University in 1970, Dr. Vaughn Sanders is a cornerstone of eye care in Owensboro. He’s known for his compassionate approach, balancing keen diagnostic skill with genuine, patient-centered care.
Dr. Sanders offers comprehensive eye exams, as well as ocular disease management including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and treament of eye infections and injuries.

Dr. Chris Meyer
Dr. Meyer has provided over a decade of welcoming comprehensive eye care to the Owensboro community. After graduating with honors from Murray State University and then Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, he’s built a reputation for creating a warm, comfortable environment for patients of all ages– especially children. His gentle approach effectively helps kids feel at ease during exams and fosters lasting good vision habits.
Other special interests of Dr. Meyer include specialty contact lens fittings, and ocular foreign body removals. Dr. Meyer offers a balance of professional skill and compassionate care that ensure healthy vision for the whole family.
